The Sutton Speech Team had their first meet, Saturday the 18th at Grand Island Senior High School. We hope you are able to come and support the team at their meets this season!
We really need your help! Our challenges at school never seem to dwindle and we are in need of extra support for our students and their classroom teachers. As a paraprofessional and under the direction of a classroom teacher, you would work with those students that need that extra help in order to learn.
We have struggled to meet all of these needs and are putting out a plea for people to serve as paraprofessionals. Have school-aged students, yourself? Perfect. You would only work on days they are in school and only for the hours they are here!
The pay is good. The benefits are good. The staff and kids are amazing. What you would take away from the experience is indescribable and largely up to you!.

Teachers and other staff worked all day evaluating student data to formulate school improvement goals and gather ideas for the 2025-26 school calendar. At noon, we held a soup and sandwich luncheon including our first annual soup contest with 9 different entries! Vanessa HigbyVillarreal takes the prize of a traveling plaque for her Pozole. It was a great way to welcome back the staff and gear up for a successful second semester!
