Sutton Public Schools

The Sutton School Board is preparing to hire a new superintendent for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Hiring a superintendent is one of the most important tasks a board must face. As the board plans for the hire, they seek and value the input of patrons, parents, staff, and administrators. The Nebraska Association of School Boards is assisting the board in the superintendent search process and has scheduled a visit to the school and community on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The board extends an invitation to participate in this visit to share thoughts regarding the district, community, and superintendent position. If you are unable to attend, please share your comments to the following questions via the methods listed below: 1. What are the strengths and accomplishments of the school district? 2. What are the strengths or advantages of the community? 3. What challenges are the district currently facing or will the district face in the coming years? 4. What background experience should the new superintendent possess? 5. What personal and professional qualities will be important in a new superintendent? October 9th - 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. - The Nebraska School Board Association staff with meet with all Community Members, Parents, and Patrons who would like to attend. It's Scholastic Book Fair time! From Monday, September 30th to Thursday, October 3rd, come experience the limitless possibilities with your kids. Every purchase benefits our school. We will be open before and after school and during Parent Teacher Conferences (4:00-7:30).

Remember that Monday and Thursday of next week are early dismissal days, 2:00pm Both AM/PM preschool will be in session. PM session will dismiss at 2:00pm as well.
