The weather this week is definitely not our friend! Forecasts include snow overnight and on Tuesday and dangerous windchills Wednesday and Friday.
In order to be safe and aid in planning for the week, ALL before school activities for this entire week are cancelled. This includes sports practices, quiz bowl, speech, etc.
Rather than an early morning phone call tomorrow morning, we will plan for a 10:00 late start. There will be no morning preschool. They are predicting up to 3” of snow by noon, so please check before heading out in the morning to see if there are additional updates to the schedule.
Tuesday doesn’t look much better as there is another wave of snow expected Monday night and the winds increase.
Bitterly cold wind chills are expected on Wednesday and Thursday, so we will have to monitor those predictions and see if starting later will help on either of those two days.
It is an unsettled week and things could change overnight, but please check your phones, Facebook, the schools’ website, and tv stations 1011 and channel 4 for updates.
Once again, ALL before school activities are cancelled for this week and we will have a 10:00 start on Monday and no morning preschool. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility this week!
The Sutton Speech team will be competing at GICC tomorrow, February 14th. Rounds start at 8:00 am. Good Luck!
