Get ready, readers, it’s almost time to celebrate Read Across America Week in our school library!
From March 2nd to March 4th, the library will be bursting with stories, surprises, and school spirit as we come together to celebrate the joy of reading.
Each day this week, we will feature a brand-new theme, and students are invited to join the fun by dressing up! Whether you love travel, reading like a rockstar, or cozy reading vibes, there will be something exciting for everyone.
We’re thrilled to welcome special guest readers into the library all week long! They’ll be sharing some of their favorite books and inspiring us with stories that spark imagination and adventure.
When students visit the library during the week, they can take part in character themed scavenger hunts, a mystery guessing jar, and lots of themed activities and surprises each day! There will be something new to discover every time you walk through the library doors!
We are especially excited to introduce our first-ever Masked Reader event! Five mystery readers will appear in daily video recordings, each sharing a story. After watching, students will receive three clues to help them guess: Who is the Masked Reader? The big reveal will happen during our all school assembly on Friday. The students will find out who’s hiding behind the masks!
The excitement continues with our Book Fair, open in the library from March 4th to March 10th. Families are invited to shop together, discover new favorites, and help grow our school library collection. Every purchase helps put more amazing books on our shelves!
It’s going to be an unforgettable week filled with imagination, laughter, and a whole lot of reading. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
